Obortunity, in collaboration with Belt and Road News Network, Qatar’s Ministry of Transportation & Communications (MOTC), Qatar Chambers and Dar Al-Sharq Group invites applications from all across Pakistan for participation in the Silk Road Exhibition (SRE), Qatar. SRE is the biggest ever exhibition in the Middle East on Belt and Road Initiative, taking place from 03 to 05 November 2019 at the Doha Exhibition and Convention Center, Qatar.

Strong participation from 50 different countries is expected, including representatives from global companies, government and semi-government agencies, SMEs, investment agencies, family offices, trading companies and embassies. The core goal of SRE is to become a primary platform in the Middle East to develop business networks, exchange experiences and open up new horizons of investments among the participating countries of Belt and Road Initiative.

SRE also aims to align the Qatar 2030 vision with the BRI since future development plans in Qatar would require a lot of services that may be provided by the companies of the Belt and Road partner countries. The participating countries at SRE 2019 will include China, Pakistan, Turkey, India, Iran, Iraq, Japan, Korea, Oman, Austria, Belgium, Bulgaria, Croatia, Republic of Cyprus, Czech Republic, Denmark, Estonia, Finland, France, Germany, Greece, Hungary, Ireland, Italy, Latvia, Lithuania, Luxembourg, Malta, Netherlands, Poland, Portugal, Romania, Slovakia, Slovenia, Spain, Sweden and the UK.
